At the beginning of Caroline and Brenin’s programme, Brenin (a 2 year old sprocker) was struggling with focus and connection out on walks, and a strong desire to find and chase wildlife. Our programme worked on games which Caroline and Brenin could do together which channelled Brenin’s chase instincts, as well as building a toolkit of cues and strategies which Caroline could use to help manage Brenin’s arousal and get his focus back on her.
